Cellular protection from oxidative stress. A daily investment in how you age.
THE SCIENCE
What most berries can't match in a cup, Tyrian delivers in a scoop.
Aronia (Aronia melanocarpa) has been documented as one of the highest ORAC-scoring foods ever measured. Total phenolic content reaches 1,500 to 2,000mg gallic acid equivalents per 100g, far exceeding commonly marketed superberries.
The polyphenol profile is unusually dense: cyanidin-3-galactoside as the dominant anthocyanin, alongside chlorogenic acid, quercetin, rutin, and a full complement of proanthocyanidins. Peer-reviewed research has studied this profile across cognitive, cardiovascular, immune, and cellular aging pathways.

SCIENCE-BACKED BENEFITS
What the research says about Aronia.
Cognitive Function
Cyanidin-3-galactoside, the dominant anthocyanin in Aronia, has been studied for neuroprotective properties. Polyphenols from dark berries are associated with support of memory, focus, and long-term cognitive resilience.
Supports Cognitive Function*Immune Modulation
Aronia's anthocyanin and flavonoid profile has been associated with immunomodulatory activity across multiple studies. The berry's polyphenols may support the body's natural defenses through several complementary pathways.
Immune System Support*Cellular Aging
Oxidative stress is a primary driver of cellular aging. Aronia's exceptional ORAC score reflects real free-radical scavenging capacity, studied for its protective effects at the molecular level.
Promotes Healthy Aging*Cardiovascular Health
Chlorogenic acid and quercetin from Aronia have been studied for support of healthy blood pressure and lipid profiles. Regular polyphenol intake is associated with cardiovascular benefits.
Heart Health Support*Anti-inflammatory Activity
The phenolic acids in Aronia, including chlorogenic acid and neochlorogenic acid, have been studied for anti-inflammatory properties in peer-reviewed research.
Anti-inflammatory*Metabolic Support
Aronia's polyphenol profile has been explored in the context of metabolic health and blood sugar regulation. The berry's low sugar content (1g per serving) makes it suitable for daily use.

WHOLE BERRY. NOTHING REMOVED.
No extracts. No isolates. The whole picture.
Most berry supplements use extracts, which isolate one or two compounds and discard the rest. Whole berry powder preserves the full matrix: anthocyanins, proanthocyanidins, phenolic acids, flavonols, and fiber, the way they exist together in nature.
Research increasingly suggests that whole-food polyphenol profiles produce synergistic effects that isolated extracts can't replicate. Tyrian Aronia Berry Powder is freeze-dried at peak ripeness to lock in this full spectrum, and nothing is added.
- – 1–2 isolated compounds
- – Remaining phytonutrients discarded
- – Processing degrades sensitive compounds
- • Full polyphenol matrix intact
- • Freeze-dried at peak ripeness
- • One ingredient. Nothing added.
PROVENANCE
Quality that starts in theground.
Tyrian's Aronia berries are grown on Midwest family farms using regenerative agricultural practices. No glyphosate, no synthetic pesticides. The soil is farmed in ways that restore microbial health, increase organic matter, and strengthen the land over time.
In July 2025, Midwest Laboratories conducted an independent soil health analysis of our growing fields. The scores speak for themselves.

CLEAN LABEL
One ingredient. Exactlywhat it says.
The ingredient list on Tyrian Aronia Berry Powder is one word: Aronia. No flow agents, no silica, no maltodextrin, no natural flavors. Just freeze-dried whole Aronia berries. Nothing added, nothing taken away.
Every batch is independently tested for heavy metals including arsenic, cadmium, lead, and mercury, meeting the safety standards set by NSF/ANSI 173 and AHPA guidelines. Glyphosate-free, verified by thirdparty laboratory.
HOW TO USE
One scoop. Every day. Into anything you love.
Morning Smoothie
Banana, frozen blueberries, almond butter, oat milk. The tartness softens into something genuinely good.
Yogurt or Oats
Stir into Greek yogurt or overnight oats. Add honey and fruit to balance the natural tart notes.
Protein Shake
Pairs especially well with cacao-based flavors. A natural post-workout polyphenol addition.
Baked Into Food
Fold into muffin batter, energy bites, or granola. Heat-stable enough for light baking.

OUR FOUNDER
A physician, a farm, and a question.
Dr. Steve Saulsbury is a board-certified physician who spent years studying the science of what plants can do. In 2011, he planted his first Aronia crop on a family farm in the Midwest, beginning over a decade of research into one of the world's most polyphenoldense and most overlooked berries.
"What if one of the most powerful berries in the world had been overlooked? We built Tyrian to answer that question, honestly, rigorously, and with the science to back it."
His vision was straightforward: grow the berry the right way, study the science, and share its potential. Tyrian exists because of that conviction and because a supplement worth trusting should start in the soil.
FAQ
Your questions, answered.
Aronia has a naturally tart, slightly astringent flavor. Most people blend it into smoothies, yogurt, or oats where the tartness softens and becomes genuinely pleasant.
Freeze-drying removes moisture at low temperatures, preserving the full polyphenol matrix — anthocyanins, proanthocyanidins, phenolic acids, and flavonols — that heat-drying would degrade.
Extracts isolate one or two compounds. Tyrian uses the whole berry, preserving the complete polyphenol profile and natural fiber. Research suggests whole-food matrices produce synergistic effects extracts can't replicate.
Every batch is tested by an independent laboratory for heavy metals (arsenic, cadmium, lead, mercury) and glyphosate, meeting NSF/ANSI 173 and AHPA safety standards.
You can, but Aronia powder is not water-soluble. For better bioavailability, pair with fat (nut butter, avocado, coconut) or fiber-rich foods.
Our berries are grown on Midwest family farms using practices that restore soil health — no glyphosate, no synthetic pesticides. Independent testing scored our fields 24.7/25 for soil health.
